Marina was admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW as a solicitor in 2020. Marina has extensive experience in defendant personal injury litigation. She acts for insurers, self-insurers, and specialised insurers across a broad range of areas, including workers compensation, work injury damages, public liability, and dust diseases matters.
Marina has appeared before a variety of jurisdictions, including the Personal Injury Commission, the District Court of NSW, the Supreme Court of NSW, and the Dust Diseases Tribunal of NSW, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the procedural and evidentiary demands unique to each forum. She has experience handling litigated claims involving complex legal and medical questions.
Marina began her career at a boutique plaintiff law firm, gaining valuable insight into the claimant’s perspective before transitioning to defendant work in 2021. This dual experience allows her to anticipate the strategic considerations on both sides of a claim, bringing a practical and well-balanced approach to her defendant practice.

Outside of work, Marina is a keen tennis fan — a passion that reached a personal highlight when she scored a selfie with Roger Federer.
